No. Jesus said he is the son of man, sent by God and God is his father.

I am confused now. It seems that you are from two different Christian faiths.

If Brunswick is a Protestant, then yeah.

Be confused. Very confused.

Christ is the only gatekeeper to God our Father. He is the firstborn of the dead, and firstborn son of God. God the father is Christ's god, and there is only one true God. Jesus Christ was placed over men, such that to us he is A god, with authority over his Church. Christ is our only path to salvation, and this is self evident throughout history. If God is a god of Love, Life and the primary source of all existence, then Christ has shown us the path to righteousness through him. Trinity is a dogma created to appease ancient Roman society. There are three passages that elude to Jesus being God and having been alive since the beginning, two were added and the third (Jn 1:1) is poetry that can be taken and mistaken many ways.

The Jews avoided the word "God". So Jesus would not say "I am God" - it would appear a blasphemy inside a blasphemy.

Instead, he choose expressions of even well-known formulas to mean the same thing.

As the passages cited by Finrod show, the jews got the message, so much they tried to stone Him.

Another example:

Jo 14,6 "Jesus saith to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me."

Imagine a leader saying "I am" those things, not "I tell about", "I know about" or "I received a message from God about"

or he is god, or crazy

Precisely.

C.S. Lewis talked about in this in his book “Mere Christianity”

“I am the way, the truth and the life.”

“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though may die, he shall live.”

And many other things like this.

If you claim all that, either you are a lunatic, or an evil man. Or you are truly who you claim you are.

For you cannot be mortal AND good, and still claim all that. Either a lunatic or an evil man would be, if mortal man you were.
