sometimes a break from social media is needed for self-care, nya?

I didn’t come online as a daily user until 2022. Last time was almost a year break. I don’t like online culture. Overall it’s a breeding ground for hatred. My hope was this place would be a place where adult discussions could be had with respectful dialogue for others differences.

It’s not expected that it’s supposed to be easy but I’m not feeling anywhere online is ever going to be a place for me. Maybe it’s my age or inexperience. Sifting through all the crap & misinformation isn’t worth it to me. Unless I choose to immediately mute anyone on their first clue they are a troll. That’s not who I am.

I believe most are good & their online personas are just a way to release their stress. Most people just want to be loved & don’t know how to act when given unconditional love back. It’s exhausting & outside my comfort level. Genuinely, my heart hurts seeing the way others are online. It’s gross & not what I or most anyone needs. 💜🥰😊
