He’s part of the joke, trying to benefit from the engagement happily. Probably the best argument is that Bitcoin is globally portable while gold is stale and domestic, and dunk on that. Peter is always worried about American collapse but be like, “if America collapses wouldn’t you want portable capital rather than domestic metal?”

Why is the talking only about which asset is portable, when no one talks the passports that make portability useful in the first place?

If you are legally trapped in a country, so what if it can’t be accessed somewhere you can’t be, unless you have heirs that aren’t also trapped in said country.
