Maybe I'm missing something, but this seems like a false dichotomy. I see no reason we can't have both. I'm unconvinced we can fix the debt and spending issue without Bitcoin. We certainly won't remain strong without it if adoption continues.

If they could be responsible and didn't print money all the time, we wouldn't need bitcoin in the first place!
