I first visited Japan in 2010 (before the Fukushima disaster). It was a huge culture shock at the time. I felt like an alien on another planet 😂
The purpose of the visit was to tell my soon to be wife’s family that we’re getting married. We lived in California at the time.
Never been there... Hopefully we'll make it for nostrapan 🙏
I loved Japan & I counting the days to go back ...
I feel you about feeling like an alien ... yet even if you don't understand Japanese, with a little bit of forethought, everything just ... works.
Most nationals I met were also super nice & helpful ...
