for lightning the easiest option is to use a custodial wallet like Wallet of Satoishi or getalby. for the technologically inclined and for those that have time on their hands, running their own lightning node is a more secure option. once you have a lightning address set up, paste it into the lighting address field on your #nostr profile and hit post. the address will look something like an email address.
