One of these is a good question, though still asked by an idiot who doesn't know what he is asking.

Windows 11 is known to probe the local wifi network to harvest data about other connected devices. The number of devices for sure. Any wifi device also likely leaks the manufacturer, operating system, and a list of services it makes available to other computers. That includes printers and network shares. Any service you are selfhosting is also fair game.

THIS INCLUDES BEING ABLE TO REPORT A LIST OF EVERY BITCOIN NODE AND MINER ON YOUR NETWORK.

Tik Tok is almost definitely doing the same thing.

They get less data about other connected devices than the device you installed the app on, but they are still collecting that data that the average person might not even realize is possible.

Client isolation helps, no? Either globally or via VLAN/subnet… according to threat model.

I have, but only on my own setup. I imagine it varies wildly.
