There are several ways to scan a book.

This kind of scanners allows most gentle book scanning with no overstrechting of the books providing automatic page turning (up to 2,500 pph)

This is dope, looks like it works well with structurally sound books. We’re a bit more careful at the museum I work at. Line scan camera?
