I was a poor college student who didn't get up early so I never caught the show back then. I picked it up again when I started working, a coworker also listened around '09-10. I subscribed a few years later but got tired of Tom bitching about everything. Still watch their clips on YT as that tended to be the better stuff anyway.

Bob and Tom was the first “podcast” I ever supported.
$60/year and I could download the mp3’s, retag them so they’d sort properly on my Sansa Clip, and listen while working because listening to the show live wasn’t always an option.
That must have been 2005ish?
