Any multi-sig singing device recs? Been dealing with Coldcards for a bit. Was checking out Bitcoiner.guide and they recommend Cobo vault and Seed Signer.
Is it really just preference? Could do block stream, ledger, etc.

I'm running Nano X, Jade, Jade for my 2/3 multisig
Have played with several configs, and I personally believe it comes down to preference. As long as you are comfortable in the security of your device. i.e., I would not use Ledger personally bc they are closed source and pander to NFTs and such. I like Jade, but their airgap functionality is still a bit confusing to me and is also newish, so if you’re strict on airgap, I wouldn’t recommend that.
Quite honestly, I would recommend CC + CC + Jade or CC + Jade + Jade just because those are my two favorite devices, or if I just wanted to airgap with PSBT, would use CC + CC + CC.
Pro tip: Setting up multi sig on Sparrow has made it all VERY easy for me. In case you haven’t done that yet.
Jade is also cheaper too.

Haha you’re good. I’ve seen you, the Simply guys, etc talk about Jade. It’s open source and BtC only so I’m about it.
Thanks for this. Yea haven’t done it yet. Just putting together the pieces. I’m guessing all Coldcards poses the threat in case something over there happens? Like if Coldcard gets weird, I’m wondering if I can still access funds with recovery word even though they make you set a pin.
Like can I recover a Coldcard seed phrase like a can some other 24-word software wallet?
Breaking it up definitely seems more reasonable. I’ll probably grab two CC and a Jade. See if anything changes in the next couple months
Yeah you always have the option of recovering with your seed phrase. I’m actually in the middle of some experiments on recovering different wallet configs, and can confirm, you can just use the words.
