I think the pinnacle of fiat stupidity is CPI day. People wait with bated breath to see what the manipulated stat a bunch of bureaucrats throws out is, and then a bunch of algorithms speculate what a different group of bureaucrats will do, and then we get movements in asset prices with zero diligence done on the fundamentals or profitability of those assets. Bitcoin fixes this, obviously.
