I think the peer to peer network communication model with zaps is a great way to take 3rd party influence out of social media. I'm still not clear if nostr will be a safe place for children.
I dont think it is (safe for children). One look at global and it tells you everything you need to know

The feed with everything on it. Not filtered by your follows. It just shows all the posts that are broadcasted to the relays you’re connected to
