Yes. If you don't have funds in there then there's nothing to keep. Is that correct? Want to make sure you understand that and that's the case. You either have your seed words or you never funded your wallet, and in either case you want to delete the wallet and restart because you forgot your password, but you have no funds anyways.

If that's correct then you can go ahead and delete the wallet and start over. Make sure you back up the seed words.
