Do they even have the capacity to do targeted blocks like that? Your email is supposed to be encrypted at rest, at least, but I'm not sure when that happens. If they receive unencrypted and then encrypt to your account, they'd definitely be able to, but I'm not sure if there's a way to avoid that or not.
I think they can, unless you use their Proton Bridge and send client encrypted (PGP) mails 🤔
