Being driven through Bangalore traffic is legitimately terrifying. I would never do this job unless I felt I had no other option.

Oh yeah, I had a heart check at a hospital in Bangalore after I got attacked: felt all sorts of weird, had unexplained heartbeat changes, weird visions, etcetera. I was staying in a hotel right across from the IBM/oracle/whatever computer park. Maybe it was just that the 'ambiance' set the mood.

I took a car service to Bengaluru hospital and went to the emergency room. They did a heart test and said nothing was wrong.

Many years earlier, in Massachusetts, I wore a heart monitor for twenty four hours because I was having strange arrythmia events. I never heard about the results; maybe the thing got lost in the mail.

I have even felt my dog having strange rythmic heart beats (with words), while holding him, when I was in Alameda, California.

I named him after a person I liked who died of suicide (the first one not the second one).
