It wouldn’t be that simple because:

1. Clay shrinks a lot when fired. This one about 14%. Any key made from this impression would be too small to work.

2. The glaze is translucent and the key impressions are almost completely filled in. Visually they’re sharp, but to the touch smooth and rounded. Trying to make an impression from the dish would just make a weird lump 😂
