Stablecoins give off the same vibes as corporate intranets did in the late 90s.
After a while, nobody cared about corporate intranets - they just wanted access to the internet.
Same thing will happen - no one will care about stablecoins- they will just want final settlement.
Maybe they do have a place like Starbucks card balance, amazon balance, other retail gift card have value. To each their own stable coin.
It'd make no sense to have stable coin but it'll work en masse.
All those closed loop gift card systems could give way to open loop gift card systems with ecash behind the scenes. Only a matter of time.
