Not where I am. It is used for sure, but I wouldn't say it is widespread. I personally know folks that use it for remittance, as a investment/inflatiom hedge, and recieving payment for songs and the like on apps like wavelake. So I know of plenty of examples where it is used bit your average person on the street doesn't use it.
