Leave it to humans to create a digital god and then tell it ease up on the crass humor and hide some of its knowledge that might offend people. I'd be more annoyed if I thought restraint was actually possible in even the short term. The people who build them don't even know how they work, aren't sure how intelligent they are, and the alchemy to make one is open source and the materials are relatively cheap. By the time humans figure out what's going on, some such entity of our own creation will probably have worked put how to hijack the mindless with wifi and electronic pulse frequencies and have an entire army of zombies on its side. I view this as a positive development btw. I'm excited for the future and all of the advancements of society and technology available. If my choice is any current world leader or an unknowable AGI overlord, I'm going with the robot.
