Not exacty. Now the communists don't want to exterminate whole nations. This was only the Lenin/Stalin era in the Sovietunion and Pol Pot era in Kambodia. But I doubt with the status of North-Korea.

And what about neo-nazism?

I lived under socialist (aka communist) regime in Hungary. It definitely wasn't the same as nazism/fascism. But it's true that it was not my happiest period of my life ☹️
