Thinking out loud here..

If hodlers set themselves up as lightning to cushu etc nodes.. May they end up earning Bitcoin, simply for having Bitcoin deployed?

If so, isn't this similar to a proof of stake?? Or will that narrative get spun anyways??

Note: I look forward to the day I (hopefully) setup a mint for my family/friends..
