There some other pyramids near my home town In Cuernavaca that has a cave. There's a spiral hole on the roof of one of the rooms in that cave. During the summer solstice the beam of light it projects into the room turns into a kind of x-ray. If you put your hand under it the shadow it casts are your bones projected onto the ground. It's wild.

They had to study the starts and their relative position to them. Some of the megalithic structures are mind boggling at these sites.
