Intermittently throughout my life my parents have asked me if I'm willing to go to war for my country (USA). Freedom is without a doubt my highest ideal, but even still I think the answer is no.

I've been conflicted about this for a long time. Do I really not believe in #freedom as much as I think I do if I'm not willing to lay down my life to protect it?

Recently I asked myself the same question about bitcoin, and the answer was an unequivocal YES.

It's not that I don't prioritize freedom or the ideals the US was founded on. It's just that I believe that bitcoin is a better representation of those ideals. Rather than fighting against citizens of a different country, we are able to fight FOR a technology each individual human across the planet can use to embrace their own liberty and self sovereignty. I'm so #grateful to be here with so many of you fighting this same fight. Never have I had so much faith in a group of humans to improve the world.
