Easy to say when your city is not being shelled by bombs and you're not watching dead ppl who were your close and far friends, family, friends of families or just ppl you've previously regularly seen on the street when you used to buy bread in a local store. It might be 'slavery' to the system but such things become abstracted from most ppls heads when they are being slaughtered by a bunch of maniacs who have been propagandized into thinking that their killing and destruction on a foreign land is 'anti Nazi' or some other bullshit. The sad reality is that once Russian solder realizes where he really is and what is he fighting and realizes he has nothing to do with any of it, It's too late. If he starts resisting he's thrown into one of the pits in the ground or just simply sent to the front lines where he dies in a day or two. And yet his mother in Russia thinks he died heroically defending poor innocent Russians... Its astonishing how little they know. As for Ukrainians... Idk... But what else can they do but defend themselves as hard as possible? Or would you suggest they shouldn't give up and so should each and everyone of us when some bully attacks us?
