I wonder what will happen when thousands of users add it to their static relay list and it starts getting hundreds of queries per minute for all notes and pubkeys in the world.

that's also why I would like for clients to be able to know which kinds a relay supports;

it would be nice if this relay didn't even get kinds it will not serve

Ideally it could be dynamic too - likely based on a pubkey AUTH.

In theory it could then be like a paywall or gated community (like you can comment using kind1, but not publish blog posts).
