It has the same proprietary liabilities as any search engine so it doesn't really work as a more curated version of that, and otherwise is implemented in only scammy ways. That's not to say it can't eventually be a net positive for humanity but until certain systemic malaties are fixed it'll never reach that potential so until then Fuck AI.

I don't see what proprietary liabilities open-source models like Mixtral have? Are you talking about the proprietary tooling around the models or what?

I think AI chatbots are scammy only if the user is the product which seems not to be the case with unleashed.chat. You simply pay for what computing power you use and that's it. Your data stays in the browser locally.

Really recommend giving unleashed a go. Open-source AI paid with lightning in the browser or in your Nostr DMs if you like. How cool is that?
