On week 43, it snowed but I still showed up to run. Central Park looked like the most beautiful winter wonderland.
Another 13.1. The strategy was: Show up. Do the distance no matter the time and most importantly don't fall. I ran my slowest half marathon but slow is better than nothing. I am obsessed with reaching my highest self and finishing all my long runs. I ran as if I was finishing the last three miles of the NYC Marathon, I could picture the ending.
Anyway, some weird statue popped up next to Central Park. A faceless woman. A bit strange. Also, I went back to the Brazilian restaurant for their salad. It is amazing! After long runs my body craves fruits and vegetables, hummus. This place has all the vegetables. I highly recommend. They have tender artichokes. Most of the salad bar is cold though. Make sure to pair your meal with their cranberry tea. It's wonderful! It's soothing. I am in love with this meal. Lol!
The strategy changes but the goal is always the same. That's what my father always says.
We are reaching out highest self in 2026, right?
