Thanks for these great suggestions. I get through a lot more listening than reading. Simply because my job entails so much sitting and studying. Are there any other good listens on this you would suggest? I listen to books and podcasts. If it is a podcast, I prefer longform that allows a more nuanced approach.

I really appreciate ALL the Bad Roman pods. I've been a guest on three of them to date, but listening to all the others has been extremely valuable to me.

Craig, the host also established the No King but Christ Network, which includes another extremely valuable podcast, Expedition 44...😃

I'll listen to more of the bad Roman and check out expidition 44 also.

During the whole COVID melt down, I thought about the books of Daniel and Esther a lot. It seems very worth considering Ezra and Nehemiah also.

Oh yah, one more key suggestion:

I've known ever since I was in college that there's something wrong with the church, but I've been unable to clearly express it beyond "We need more fellowship" and "The church has become too much like the world."

I only discovered Wadsworth within the last year. He articulates in detail what I've felt for a long time.💖🚀💥

This looks fascinating. Ive read a bit of the early church fathers, but this looks like a great resource.
