Public Education curricula should not be politically divisive. Public Education should limit itself to more basic education that is not controversial. 2+2=4 is not political and arithmetic is not controversial. Neither is spelling.

Public schools are inherently political and cater to lowest common denominators. If you want politics mostly out of education then go to private schools or home school.
