For years I’ve believed the zip code one chooses to live in is super important from a health standpoint…..I now believe it is super important from an everything stand point.

Unfortunately. Inequality and inequity of humanity is ruthless. But yeah. Not saying things should be "fair" or evenly distributed. But the game is so hedged.

Was growing up next to the Monsanto research building where they invented round up a good thing? Probably not

Also the same city that Pfizer decided to a open a new giant research facility right next to Monsanto/Bayer lol. There’s always an orange tint in the sky around the bayer facility it’s fun 🫠

I always grapple with this living up at our latitude, my specific neighborhood is wonderful and I love my community in Fargo. But the challenging access to vitamin D and lack of winter sports in the Dakotas is hard on the people here for sure, comparatively to those at lower latitudes.

Not complaining, and no plans on moving, but how do you like to deal with this?

I’ve found trips inside the tropics are the only way to offset northern latitude winters for maintaining D naturally.

I moved recently from a very blue zip code to a solidly red zip code

ppl here are friendly

say hello in public

keep eyes on their neighbors that they okay

live life a bit slower

oh and, like 85% of folks own weapons
