Maybe it perspective to me Nostr seems more European than the general web but then again I am American.

Maybe a Spanish person thinks a fair portion of the internet is Spanish.

It could also be the relays, and people I’m interacting with.

It’s more diverse here on Nostr globally for the better, and worse.

yeah i feel you. i was on the net in the late 90's starting out and spent most of my time on message boards.

it was pretty much North America + Europe that was mostly populated. East Asia was too, but, language barriers were abundant.

it was a better time too..not everyone was searching for attention, it was for fun, many people just built websites just to have fun online

Yeah, I started using the internet primarily somewhere around the 2000’s, mainly during The Youtube era when it was the fresh new craze.

The internet has changed for the worse over the years unfortunately.

Hopefully, as things evolve we can reclaim that old feeling in a better way.

I for one like an Internet without restrictions because it feels more freeing to be able to express yourself properly.
