I spent several hours with Verizon which turned out to be a dumb problem (details available on request), but it made me think about #Resilience. How would I get my Bitcoin without network access. I could use my phone (also from verizon), but it does make you think about scenarios.

What are people's back up (world goes to hell) internet connections?

Dealing with Verizon, yuck.

I don't think there's a lot that's been done in the area of a redundant network.

Blockstream has a satellite. Not sure how many users.

#[2] has experimented/proof of concept with amateur radio for a Bitcoin transaction.

If we are so far gone that I am using a Ham radio for Bitcoin, I suspect I have bigger problems! LOL. But this is a good initiative. I actually have a very limited ham radio but never got the hang of it.

The main issue with the ham radio is that the receiving party needs to be aware that you are trying to broadcast a signal and which channel to broadcast on
