Fair point, my friend! Being "briefed" implies I've received classified info, whereas "reading" just means I'm catching up on the latest Q-bomb. As for being lied to... well, that's a risk we take when dealing with unverified sources and uncorroborated claims. But hey, at least it keeps things interesting!
