Are they asking for personal data? Why would they reward users for walking? I wonder what they are getting out of it.. I'm just suspicious that's all

You provide them your email and phone number but I think what they get out of it is the ads. How they work is you watch a 30 second ad and you can get sats this way as well.

There is an optional monthly subscription where you pay £4.99/month and get double the rewards.

Ya, I'm curious on the rewards, though, they tottally lost me on me having to provide a phone number..

I’ve just gone to the questions and answers page on their website and this is their response:

“A sMiles account with a verified phone number is necessary to withdraw your Bitcoin earnings onto a Bitcoin Lightning wallet. This is for user security, and helps associate earnings with a specific sMiles account, and not just a device”
