At least in part there seems to be evidence that the welfare state has disincentivized community and marriage. It might seem good prima facie but highly likely it’s a net negative

Agreed, and fiat money funds the welfare state and government propaganda to discourage marriage.
I also feel that the easy access to pornography coupled with peoples lack of financial stability keep them from getting married and having children.
Scary stuff but hopefully we can build a better future with happy families and lots of healthy children!
