We misunderstood Lightning, we thought about it as a consumer software. It is not, it is more an infrastructure for operators.

Bitcoin and the TradFi world have actually a lot in common in how they are organized. Three common layers:

- Customer balance ( Liquid/Sparks/Ark vs Bank App/ Venmo/PayPal)

- Operator rails (LN vs RTP/SWIFT)

- Final settlement (Bitcoin On-chain vs RTGS)

Users are leaning towards what is easy to use. Ark, Cashu, Fedimint, etc., are optimized for simple UX. This is where the final user will live.

Even if it seems like we are building a system with the same characteristic of the old TradFi one, we are doing so on a barer asset and in a permissionless manner.

Lightning is the expressway to connect everything.

Trustless, instant finality, real Bitcoin and battle-tested in the real world.
