Maybe it's because there are 2 places where relays are read from?

Some clients use relays mentioned in kind3 while others have moved to NIP-65, ie. kind 10002 relays.

If you're editing relays in kind 10002 clients, that will not change the relays being read by kind3-relay clients.

I know Amethyst uses kind3 relays (maybe Damus does too?). If you can't edit them in Damus, need to edit in another kind3-relays client.

Note: Since kind3 is following list, please ensure you have a backup, so that during edit, if followers gets nuked, you can get them back
