I fully believe 12 year old girls should have the right to walk into any gun shop then walk out 5 minutes later with an honest, real deal MP5, along with ammo and any other sundries she desires.

Restricting access to any tool is lunacy, particularly defensive ones. Firearms are force equalizers for a lot of people who are otherwise easily taken advantage of.

Don't restrict your own ability to defend yourself where possible, and don't try to remove someone else's protective options just because your precious fee fees are triggered by simple ownership of inanimate objects.
