We should have relays that only allow ephemeral events. So you can post for free but your event will only stay for 48 hours unless you pay.

Something like this? https://github.com/phyro/fo-relay

Must be tweaked to actually store things for 48 hours, but the entire codebase is 40 lines of Go.
