Totally fair question.

On Damus I:

Click the 3 dots in the top right corner.

Click copy note id.

Paste the note id into the note you’re intending the reply to be in.

Put an @ sign in front of the note, the same way you’d do to tag someone, and it’ll tag the note you’re referring :)
