When bitcoiners say 'Bitcoin is inevitable', they actually mean to say 'something that was designed to exist forever, will probably outlast everything else, because all other stories will fade in time '?

Or do they use Time and Energy to back up that claim?

What do you think?

Of course— time and energy equals 🟰 proof of work… just like in making art or an animation in which TIME FACTORED BY ENERGY EQUALS ART

Wow, much better understandable with that art analogy! If we can articulate these principles without using bitcoiner slang, that would be quite impactful.

I will be working on concepts like these in my upcoming animations… however, while trained as an artist and classical animator I am just getting back into it after decades of being a UX designer and information architect— I will be submitting my first animation short called “HODL & Hold On For Dear Life” to the upcoming Bitcoin Film Festival so bear with me… thanks for your feedback- much appreciated!

i think about inevitability regarding natural law.

if i throw a person into the artic ocean, they will inevitably cool to equilibrium with the water.

kick as they might, trying to stay warm, there is only one way it goes.

btc is perfect money because it perfectly aligns with natural law, as such, our monetary system can only bleed energy into btc, inevitably

What does aligning with natural law mean? It sounds good, but hiw can that claim be articulated like I'm orange pilling my physics teacher or the butcher down the street?

Academically, it’s Aristotelian/Thomistic philosophy: Natural Law

For the average layman: in reality, value is created through work.

money is an object, brought into existence when people exchange objects imbued it with value.

money grounded in work aligns with natural law. sound money

money not grounded in work doesn’t align with natural law. fiat money

this asymmetry creates a one way energy transfer. the transfer is volatile, but it csn only trend to its inevitable end.

drop a rock off of mountain, it will speed down, bouncing up and down along the way, but due to the nature of reality, gravity, and the energy transfer, we would say it inevitably ends up at the bottom.

that’s a down and dirty explaination.

i do a better job, with more words, in my upcoming book
