Seen in a youtube comment: "I sold a motorcycle for £1200 and Monzo froze my account until i provided screenshots of the receipt, facebook advertisement, messages and DVLA new keeper notice. they locked me for a week and only when i threatened them with the police they released it. Just £1200."

(Monzo is a "neo-bank", think Revolut).

Same happened to me with N26, do not do commerce with this MFs.

What about xapobank.com that is a pro Bitcoin Bank?

It charges $1000 per year

Yes.

They're all the same, some better, some worse. The bank ledger is transparent to them, you have zero privacy, and they get fined for any "money laundering" violations (though billions in USAID or Ukraine seem to be alright).

So they all err on the side of caution, treat customers as criminals, and are not shy about harassing customers, blocking accounts and being intrusive with their questions, because after all, at the end of the day, they are just following orders™.

As usual, government got into it, and destroyed everything.

You are not wrong.

This is good for bitcoin.

This is terrifying. Between this and the speech under attack in the UK it’s not a great time to be British.

The banks are having too much control over our own money. Not cool.
