Even if you try to reason with the idea of closed borders, given the huge size of the U.S borders with Mexico and Canada, you would need a strong federal oversight to actually enforce a closed borders policy; And that to me sounds pretty contradictory to the ideas of anti-statism, free market principles, and individualism.

There's really only two kinds of land in this world: Unclaimed land and private property.

Nope

"State borders are illegitimate; private property is the one that defines limits."

This is what common people call open borders libertarian

"Why are all these people that don't believe in Libertarianism moving in and voting for other government types?"

This shit is like Anarcho-Communism. It's ridiculous on it's face.

- Specifically, the US case?

- Are you an anarchist, ancap or statist ??? I'd like to try to explain it from the correct perspective

Borders are a capitalist invention to stop workers seeking better wages in other countries.

They're a recent invention.

(Borders over people obviously I understand that nation states had territories before capitalism but the prohibition of migration is a capitalist invention)

This goes hand in hand with the right to bear arms and the right to shoot anyone who trespasses.

Bordertarians: "I hate welfare so much I'll torch the entire bill of rights to stop people peacefully crossing borders."
