I see a lot of fake Xisha clay pots around in the average mall store. It may be possible to still find a good one accidentally in these places.

In Calgary where I am, if I was in the market for one, I'd go to a local tea shop owned by oldschool Chinese tea sellers.

eBay may be viable if you are willing to risk it.

A quick way to confirm quality is: lid fits deeply and it is not loose, inside of the pot is well made/smooth.
