again just from my experience building loyalty and things in to large pub chains, for the larger operators integration in to their existing pos is critical, and a lot of these pos manufacturers (Zonal, Access etc.) run extremely closed proprietary systems and deliberately make integration more trouble than it is worth... Smaller operators running Zeus or Alby or whatever totally makes sense. Or LNPos... I thought about developing an LNBits integration in to Zonal and Access which would be a gamechanger in this regard I think...

At this moment in time, I have two friends running small businesses that want to take Bitcoin payments. I want to be ready to help them personally and I now feel I have the toolset available.
As for the longer view, yes existing merchant service companies are going to be hostile to Bitcoin integration because, by definition, it eventually eliminates the merchant company.
This is where we need the Nash equilibrium to take effect, and it will eventually play out.
In the mean time, there are merchant companies like Block that are able to offer both. This creates the prisoners dilemma for other merchant companies.
awesome work. good luck!
