I'm not convinced that strengthing the dollar is his goal, but regardless you are right. That can't be done unless people are burning dollars somewhere and we all know that's not happening

Strength of dollar is only relative to other fiats. In reality all fiats are weakening and Dollar a bit less weak in comparison. Trump wants to strengthen the supremacy of dollar.
