A common misperception, unfortunately. Burning fat is largely a result of the food you put in your mouth. The gym is a fantastic way to improve strength and stamina and muscle hypertrophe but you won’t burn enough calories to meaningfully burn away fat. Unfortunately, a find many people are offended to hear this.
Are you trying to lose weight? Try to be deliberate about what food you eat everyday and measure your portions to get a healthy balance of proteins, carbs, some fats, fruits, and veges. Also walk >30 minutes per day.
In both cases (muscle gain and fat loss) discipline is a prerequisite. 🤗
