anthropic has degraded from retarded to broken
it used to retry with exponential backoff but now just fails with a 500 and stops all work
i guess it's time to reduce my anthropic spend

Hmm. I started using Claude CLI (annual
Pro sub) after I kept getting type 500 errors using Anthropic with Goose and I haven’t had any unrecoverable crashes since.
