I dont i have iphone , but i am willing to trade in my phone, do you reccomend anything specific?

I recommend getting a google pixel that you can change the operating system on to grapheneos, calyx, or lineageos. So probably a google pixel pro 8 changing the os on it is super easy literally you just plug ur phone into the computers & the sites have installers which does all the extra work for you.

But if you're willing to invest a little more money for total freedom I would get a linux phone. Theres these brand models you can look up & check out the specs.

These phones cost abit more but with a linux operating system on them you will have more privacy, anonymity, & freedom over your phone in all aspects.

Yeah there are other model phones you could use it may require extra steps to do as certain models of phones are only supported for each os but they developers make it a point to make sure it works on almost every google pixel device.

Yea when your ready lmk i'll guide you it's super easy to do & just so you know when you change the os ur phone will be wiped so do it after you backup all your photos, videos, & app data.
