What does #asknostr have to say about the best lightning software for a noob to run, LND or Core Lightning?

Oh LND by far is the easiest.

Their cli is easier. Their automated backup process is easier. Their is less friction getting ecosystem tools working with it. LND is practically the default support target and cln is an afterthought.

It's a shame too, because Core Lightning has the better implementation strategy with their plugin architecture.
